Privacy Policy

RoverZoom books scheduled rides in Palm Beach County, Florida. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and what we do not do with it. It describes the service as it actually works today rather than every possibility we might one day want.
What we collect

We never see or store your card number. Card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. If you choose to save a card, it is saved with Stripe's Link service, not with us — we cannot see it, and we cannot charge it without you completing a payment.
We do not require an account, and we do not build a profile of you across other websites. There are no advertising trackers on this site.
Text messages
When you give us your mobile number to book a ride, you agree that we may text you about that ride. There are normally two messages per booking:
- a confirmation when your ride is booked, and
- a message with a live tracking link when a driver accepts it.
These are transactional messages about a ride you asked for. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies with how often you book. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out stops the texts; it does not cancel your ride.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your consent to receive text messages with any third party for their own marketing purposes. Your number is shared only with the service that delivers the message on our behalf, and with the driver assigned to your ride so they can reach you.
Who we share information with
- Your driver — your name, phone number, and the pickup and destination for your ride. Nothing else, and only once they are assigned to you.
- Stripe — to take card payments. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to what they hold.
- Our messaging and mapping providers — the minimum needed to send a text or calculate a route.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it for anyone else's advertising.
Your tracking link
The tracking link we text you contains a long random identifier, not your booking reference. It cannot be guessed from your name, your number, or your reference code. Anyone you forward it to can see that ride's progress, so share it only with people you want to have it.
How the site is measured
We count visits to understand which of our adverts work and where people abandon a booking. This uses a random identifier that lives only for the length of a single visit and is discarded when you close the tab. It is not linked to your name, number, email or address, it does not follow you to other websites, and we do not store your IP address. Location is recorded only at the level of a city.
Drivers
If you drive with RoverZoom, we additionally hold your vehicle details, your driving licence and insurance documents, your earnings history, and your location while you are online. Location is used to dispatch rides and to show riders where their driver is; it is not recorded when you are offline. Your licence and insurance are stored privately and are visible only to the RoverZoom staff responsible for approving drivers.
How long we keep it
Ride records are kept as long as we need them for our accounts and tax obligations. Site-measurement records are kept for up to 24 months and contain no personal detail.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to stop text messages.
- Decline the location prompt and type your pickup address instead.
- Skip the email field entirely.
- Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, using the contact details below. We will need to verify your identity before acting on either.
Children
RoverZoom is for adults. You must be 18 or over to book, or the parent or legal guardian of the person riding. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
